Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has finally sounded the drum and announced the dissolution of the assemblies of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday, December 23.
He announced this on Saturday while addressing his workers in many cities including Lahore through video link. During this address, the chief ministers of both the provinces were also present with him.
Compared to this political strategy of Tehreek-e-Insaaf, what strategy will the Muslim League-N, which is considered to be the biggest stakeholder politically, adopt now?
Speaking to Urdu News in this regard, League leader and the country's Prime Minister Nazir Tarar said that "if you ask the truth, it is in our great interest that Imran Khan should leave Punjab on his own."
Continuing his speech, he said that this is our effort and we have decided that they should go home today instead of tomorrow. The life of Punjab is less than him and things start going in the right direction.
When the Law Minister was asked that he also wants the same and Imran Khab also wants the same, then what is the obstacle? So his answer was 'The biggest obstacle is Chaudhry Parvez Elahi. He is not at all in favor of dissolving the Punjab Assembly. They have taken this one week time. And they will not allow to break the assemblies next week also. Because their politics points in that direction.
It should be noted that a similar statement has also been given by Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah. He has said in one of his tweets that 'PML-N is not in a mood to give any kind of offer to Parvez Elahi considering his fame', so does Chaudhry Parvez Elahi have any hope from PML-N?
The answer to this question was given by an important leader of the Muslim League-N on the condition of anonymity that 'Chaudhri Parvez Elahi wants us to make him an offer. While our leadership has decided that we will not take the initiative, if Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has any formula, then he should go ahead himself, then it will be seen after that.
If it is assumed for a moment that the assemblies are being dissolved next week, what will be the immediate political plan of the PML-N? In response to this question, Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar said that in such a case, all our preparations are complete, it cannot be said yet. If Imran Khan dissolves the assemblies, it will be his will, what will happen next will not be his will. I can only say that it will not be of political benefit to Imran Khan, but a loss.
Earlier, Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman had said in a conversation with journalists that there are many options including vote of confidence, motion of no confidence to prevent the dissolution of Punjab Assembly, but any decision will be taken by the PML-N leadership.
