The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has passed the legal amendment bill on the use of government helicopters.

 No one can ask where the government helicopter of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was used for 14 years, the amendment bill was passed.

The bill was introduced by Provincial Minister Shaukat Yousafzai and these amendment bills are part of the Salaries and Perks Bill of Provincial Ministers.


Under this bill, from November 1, 2008, the use of government helicopters will not be questioned. And for lack of documents during 14 years, even a person traveling in a helicopter cannot be questioned.


The bill further states that the government helicopter can also be used for personal purposes on hire. For use for personal purposes, permission must be taken from the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


According to the text of the bill, the official helicopter can now be used by ministers, advisers, special assistants or government officials in addition to the chief minister.
