Writing to Speaker to confirm resignations: Fawad Chaudhry

Former federal minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry has accused the government of 'lying' and said that the resigned members of PTI are not getting salary.

In a tweet statement on Thursday, Fawad Chaudhry said that "Yesterday it was said in the Supreme Court that Tehreek-e-Insaf members are not coming (to the assembly) but are getting salary."

He said that the judges should go through the process of verifying every news that comes to the media first. The reality is that it was another government lie.

According to him, the salaries of the resigned members are suspended and no member is getting salary.

Fawad Chaudhry further said that a letter is being written to the Speaker today and has been asked to tell the time when the members of the assembly will come to you once again to confirm their resignations so that a new election process can be started.

It should be noted that in April of this year, on the occasion of the no-confidence motion against the then Prime Minister Imran Khan, all members of PTI had resigned, some of whom were later accepted by the Speaker of the National Assembly and in these seats. By-elections were held.
