According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, on Saturday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad and Upper Punjab received rain with thunder and snow on the mountains, while the weather remained cold in other parts of the country.
On Sunday, the weather will remain cold and dry over most of the country's plains, however, thundershowers and snow are expected over the mountains in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan-administered Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In the last 24 hours, rain and snowfall occurred at some places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad and Punjab. The weather remained cold in other parts of the country.
The minimum temperature on Saturday was minus 14 in Leh, minus 11 in Ziarat, minus 9 in Astor and Kalam, minus 8 in Gopas, minus 07 in Hunza, minus 6 in Malam Jabba, Skardu, minus 5 in Kalat, Quetta and Bagrot. It recorded minus 4 degree Celsius and minus 3 degree Celsius in Murree.
