Muhammad Balighur Rehman, Governor of Pakistan's Punjab Province, has said that "Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi will have to take a vote of confidence from the Assembly, this is a constitutional requirement."

In a meeting with the delegations of former provincial ministers and members of the assembly at the governor's house on Friday, Balighur Rehman said that Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi has been asked to take a vote of confidence according to the constitution and law.

It should be noted that while talking to the media on the occasion of the inauguration of the Gujranwala Medical College Teaching Hospital yesterday, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi had said that he did not accept the order of the Governor of Punjab, it was an illegal order.

Governor Punjab had directed Chief Minister Pervez Elahi to take a vote of confidence from the assembly on December 21, but in case of failure to take the vote, an order was issued to dissolve the cabinet and dismiss Pervez Elahi.

After that, the Lahore High Court temporarily suspended the notice of dismissal and issued notices to the parties, whose next hearing will be held on January 11.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has instructed his party to take a vote of confidence from the Chief Minister's Assembly before the court appearance, but Chief Minister Pervez Elahi refused to take the vote of confidence while talking to the media in his hometown on Thursday. was

According to the statement issued by the Governor House, former ministers Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Khawaja Imran Nazir, besides members of the Assembly Nawab Sher Wasir, Malik Muhammad Riaz, Mian Fida Hussain Wato, Rana Abdul Rauf Ghazali, Salim Butt, Hina Parvez Butt, Sameera are among those who met. Komal, Faisal Hayat Jabwana and Mufti Ekhta Alam Noori were included.

According to the statement, Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman said that those who spread false propaganda of defaulting will face regret, due to the policies of the coalition government, economic stability has started to come in the country.
