Our parents do not know how to inculcate the habit of studying in their children. Children's initial impression of school books and school work is very important, after which it is decided whether children will develop a love for reading and writing. He will be happy with it or consider it as forced labour. Majority of our people are allergic to books. Studying seems like a daunting task. A person who reads more books is considered a fool. They have different names. Bookworm, bookworm etc. Teaching children in such an environment demands special but sensible attention from parents. When I admitted my child to school, I strictly forbade him not to be asked to read, but to take a book in front of him and start reading. He does not realize that this is a work to be done as a chore. Or there is a duty that has to be performed and that has been imposed on him at that age. When we want him to do his homework, we sit down with his books ourselves. They get busy making something with their color pencils and start coloring. The child is automatically attracted. He takes the books from us and starts repeating the lesson and takes out the worksheet and starts working. We only guide.
A child should never be asked to do school work while he is watching TV or engrossed in his favorite game or playing with other children, otherwise he will get the impression that school work is not fun. It is a disgusting job. We have a special experience of parents that when the child is playing his favorite game, he remembers his school work. Moments of happiness are forcibly taken away from him and he is made to read. In this way, the child develops hostility towards the book. At that time, the child finds books as poison. Enemies are felt and we consider it as our success.
If parents do not adopt this attitude in the early days of school, children may become friends with books and reading, and later on, when learning becomes difficult and almost every child begins to lose focus on learning, even in learning. The child takes interest and does his work with fun. If there are books in the house and adults read those books, it is enough for children. If the father is busy in business, the mother is busy with housework and you do not pay attention to the children, then this situation also reduces the interest of the children in studies, but the ignorant parents try to give various facilities to the child with money. and make them accustomed to taking help from tuition etc. so that later they can blame the children that we did not leave any deficiency, fulfilled every wish but the child did not fulfill our wish to read and write.
Remember! Education is not something that can be done at the will of others. Each person reads according to his own desire. The fact is that training parents before children is important. They want good grades and degrees more than studying. When their children pass their exams, they give their copybooks to the junkyard. Our society is a semi-educated society. Every child has their own style. All children are neither doctors nor engineers. Every child has a different tendency. Aunt's son is not necessarily proficient in mathematics, so is our son. He may be interested in acquiring poultry skills. It is the responsibility of parents to direct their interest at an early age. As much as it is a passion to be a parent, it is also important to be concerned about the future of children.
