If the chief minister does not take the vote of confidence, the situation may become more complicated

The political situation in Punjab is becoming uncertain due to the government and the opposition sticking to their positions.

Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman has directed Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi to take a vote of confidence from the Assembly at four o'clock today, Wednesday.

On the other hand, the Speaker did not issue the gazette notification of the special session called by the Governor, as a result of which the Assembly Secretariat did not open today at 4 pm. Speaker Sabatin Khan has called the meeting on Friday.

The opposition has announced that they will reach the Punjab Assembly at four o'clock anyway. PML-N leader Saad Rafique addressed Imran Khan in a tweet and said that he wants to break the assembly and we want to save the assembly. Now don't run and fight.'

Political observers are fearing that the issue could lead to a confrontation.

Ahmad Bilal Mehboob, head of PLDAT, while talking to Urdu News, said that "Constitutionally, the Chief Minister of Punjab is bound to follow the advice of the Governor, there is nothing below and above it." The Speaker's ruling is the same as the one given by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly against no-confidence. If the Governor de-notifies the Chief Minister for not taking the vote of confidence on time, the situation will become more complicated. '

Ahmad Bilal Mehboob said that the most important thing will be what the government machinery will obey at that time. "Inevitably, this matter seems to me to go to court."

A senior officer of the Punjab Assembly Secretariat told Urdu News on condition of anonymity that only the security personnel will be in the Punjab Assembly building at four o'clock today. While the rest of the staff have been given leave today and asked to come on Friday.

The security chief has also been instructed to keep the entrance doors of the assembly closed. Additional police personnel have also been called in to perform duty outside the assembly.

Spokesman Muslim League-N-Uzma Bukhari said that today all our members of the Punjab Assembly will reach in any case. This is our constitutional right. We stand with the governor, he has called a special meeting today. Will fulfill this constitutional process.

On the other hand, Speaker Sabatin Khan says that 'My rolling has come. The Governor is not authorized to call any such session when the session is already in progress. Now the matter has progressed, the no-confidence motion of the opposition will be taken up on Friday. Then if they bring 186 members in their favor, this movement will be successful. But nothing will come to them by force like this.
