The outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is taking our redline, action

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is our redline, we are taking action against it and will take more.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while talking to the representatives of Pakistani media in Washington said that no step will be avoided for the safety and security of our people.

When Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was asked that there were attacks on Pakistan from Afghanistan in the past few days, will Pakistan deploy its forces in Afghanistan or near the border to avoid such attacks?

So he said that in this regard, with the cooperation of the Kabul government, such a policy will be adopted to end militancy.

He further said that despite the clashes on the border, the situation is still much better than in 2007 when Pakistan started operations against the TTP.

The foreign minister said that the recent incidents on the border and the incidents in Banu are worrying, but on both occasions our security forces fought bravely and controlled the situation.

He stressed on the government of Afghanistan that it will have to demonstrate the ability and strength to stop other groups, including the TTP, operating from there.

In response to a question, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari admitted that, like America, Pakistan's Afghanistan policy has room for improvement and "we need to be serious about what we are going to do."

He said that the important question is whether we are learning from our mistakes and ensuring that they are not repeated. The answer to this question will determine the security and stability of Pakistan, Afghanistan and the entire region.

Bilawal Bhutto said that as far as the situation in Afghanistan is concerned, I don't think anyone wants to see such a situation and he has been saying for a long time that the policies should be reviewed.

"I said this even when we were in the opposition and now I say it even when I am part of the government."

I think a comprehensive approach is needed to deal with such cases.

An easy way out at this point is to cooperate with the government of Afghanistan to deal with this issue.

In response to a question, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the world is facing economic difficulties due to the Corona epidemic and now the situation in Ukraine and climate change.

In these circumstances, like others, we will have to work hard to achieve our economic goals.
