Reduction in power generation, 'load management of two hours a day has to be done'

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (ISCO) has said that 'due to reduction in hydropower production, load management has to be done in the region.'

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (ISCO) has said that 'due to reduction in hydropower production, load management has to be done in the region.'

In a statement on Twitter on Saturday, Isco says that 'due to the reduction in hydropower production, two hours of load management is being done on each feeder in a day.'

"Feeders on which shutdown is going on due to annual system maintenance are exempted from load management on that day."

It has been further said on behalf of ISCO that 'normal supply of electricity will be restored as soon as the situation becomes normal, they apologize to the consumers for this situation.'

It should be noted that for the last several days, consumers using electricity have been complaining about electricity loadshedding in different areas of the country.

ISCO is also releasing the load management schedule in different parts of the region on its Twitter account.
