A meeting of the National Security Committee has been held under the chairmanship of Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in which many important decisions have been taken.
The National Security Committee meeting in Islamabad was attended by the civil and military leadership.
It should be noted that this meeting was held after the new wave of terrorism in different parts of the country, in which the participants were briefed by the military officials.
Earlier on Thursday, there was a meeting between Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister House, it was said that "the solution to the recent wave of terrorism will be discussed in the meeting of the National Security Committee."
After the two-day long Corps Commanders' Conference chaired by Army Chief General Asim Munir in Rawalpindi, it was said on Wednesday that 'in accordance with the aspirations of the people, the scourge of terrorism and fighting against extremists will be eliminated. .'
On Monday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also said that he will use all resources to crush the scourge of terrorism.
"In order to prevent the incidents of terrorism, the provincial governments, the federation and all the institutions will use all the resources together and it will have to be eradicated so that peace can return to Pakistan."
It should be noted that after the announcement by the banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) of ending the ceasefire agreement with the government last month, the incidents of terrorism have increased in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and especially in the southern districts.
On the other hand, temporary check posts have been established at 25 different places after the suicide blast in the capital Islamabad and in view of the fear of terrorism.
