An incident of alleged gang rape of a girl has come to light in Islamabad's F 9 Park.
On Saturday, the police of Margalla police station said that the incident took place on Thursday February 2 after 8 pm when the victim went for a walk with her friend.
In the statement given to the police, the victim girl has said that she was raped by two armed men in F 9 Park.
According to the text of the FIR, after the rape, her clothes were thrown away so that she could not run away.
According to him, the armed men returned the things to him and said, "Don't tell anyone, don't come to the park at that time and ran away to the forest."
According to the text of the FI, the gunmen also tortured the girl and beat up her friend in the forest, who was later separated.
The police have got the medical records of the victim girl from the hospital. An FIR of the incident has been registered at Margalla police station.
Islamabad Police has said in a statement on Twitter that "the people present in the park at the time of the incident and the administration are being interrogated and the DNA of the suspicious persons is also being taken."
The police say that evidence is being collected on the basis of cameras and intelligence, soon the accused will be brought to justice.
In 2018 too, a girl was gang-raped in F-9. CDA employees and guards were involved in this case.
